Take Action: Support Forest Park

Information on how you can become a member, volunteer, and get involved.

Members are the heart of Friends of Forest Park, ensuring that we continue to preserve and enhance Forest Park. There are a variety of ways you can get involved and help Forest Park.  Here are some:

  • donate nowJoin Friends of Forest Park. As a member, you'll receive our Friends of Forest Park Quarterly print newsletter and be eligible to participate in our Discovery Hike Series at no cost.  You'll also receive monthly e-newsletters with up-to-date news and the inside scoop on hikes and other Forest Park events. Most importantly, you will join a growing network of citizens dedicated to protecting Portland's premier park.
  • Volunteer: Volunteers are always needed to help repair and improve Forest Park's extensive trail system. We also have a number of volunteer opportunities in the office.  Get involved and learn more about individual volunteer opportunities.
  • Sign up for our e-mail newsletter. Get the latest scoop on all news and events related to Forest Park. You can sign up using the Updates by e-mail box on the left side of this page. We promise not to share your e-mail address with anyone. 
  • Get outside: The Forest Park Hike Series: From April through November, Friends of Forest Park offers a series of guided hikes. Get into the park with our talented hike leaders and learn more about the natural and cultural history of this region.
